Default Help For TV Tuner - Windows Media Centre

Hello friends,

I need a help.

I have Compaq presario V6000 laptop with windows vista ultimate installed.

Laptop does not have internal TV tuner card. I have Gemini TV tuner card which works on laptop with WinPVR.

Can I use Windows Media Centre to wathc live TV? How to do it?

Currently it is not detecting TV Tuner.

You would think (well I would) that if you fitted a TV card, Vista would somehow arrange for the information to be passed to it's Media Centre ! well unhappily not, you actually need to go to MC and manually set it up, the proper way to do this is explained HERE by Microsoft, personally I gave up on it and just watch on it's own interface (Hauppage Digital), I don't use it for launching games or anything, so it's just a waste of time for me.

Hope yours goes OK.
