Exclamation The Blue screen of death--0x0000007B (0x8060BA0, 0xC000000E, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)

recently i tried dual booting vista with ubuntu, and everything turned out to be fine at first, but a few days ago, some partitions have been found missing--not becoming unallocated spaces, but with no drive letters, and those volumes without drive letters are recognized as unknown hardware. Still, i was able to enter vista back then.

but then today when i started up my computer, my computer gave me the blue screen with this
STOP: 0x0000007B (0x8060BA0, 0xC000000E, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)
when i choose to boot vista.
I rebooted my computer and everytime i try to boot up vista i get that screen.
The odd part is not only i could boot into ubuntu without any problems, i could access all my partitions in ubuntu.

Can anyone help me with this?

(I have both OS on the same hard disk, and if possible, i would not like to format my windows partition and install the whole thing again.)

Try GUIDE : Windows Vista 'Stop Errors' or 'The Blue Screen Of Death'

I understand your frustration. Problem is i've never come across a quick fix for the dreaded blue screen. As you'll see in HappAndyK's link, it's a troubleshooting process and they don't say " The answer is THIS!". Because it just isn't like that.
