Default Windows Media Online Buffer Issue

Hi,

Recently when I have tried to view a video online that runs with Windows Media Player, it always says 'Ready' then Connecting..., and then back to 'Ready' after about 8 seconds. When I click on Play it just does the same thing over again without the video even starting.

This never used to be an issue for me, I only noticed this recently. I get this error message when I right click and choose Error Details:

"Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file."

Any suggestions as to how I can fix this?

Thank you!
