I have a windows XP ... bought it in 2004. Never had a problem with sound before. Now it won't play sound. I thought my speakers were wired incorrectly when we got into our new home ... but my headsets won't work off my USB ports, either. Checked all the settings in control panel. All fine. It says the sound card is in there and working properly. It's an SB Audigy Audio B400. Now when I do a hardware check for my headsets ... it shows it can record and playback audio. But I can't hear a thing online .. and my computer won't play system sounds. Can't find anything on it on the Creative website. I am at a loss and I need to have audio for work.
Please help if you can. Thanks. |
