Unhappy Trouble booting up

I've had a problem for several days now with Windows shutting down improperly and/or not booting up again. The problem occurs when a. I’ve shut down the computer and later want to reboot; b.or, it goes to sleep when I leave it on overnight and won’t wake up or reboot.
I get a message that says one of the following:
a. “A problem has been detected and Windows has been shut down to prevent damage.....” Once the message read, “Stop: OxOOOOOO7E (Oxc0000005, Ox8765E807, Ox872049EO, Ox872046DC) . NVstor.sys—address 8765E807 base at 8765B000. Datestamp 4522ff6b.”
b. Or “Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause.”
c. Or, “Your computer was unable to start.”
The only thing I can do is launch Startup repair. Sometimes after “attempting repairs....” and “Your computer should start normally,” it doesn’t, and I have to go through the whole thing again.
Today I got an error box that said “error in C\Win\System 32\NVCPL.DLL. Missing entry: Export OEM Defaults.”
My computer has been thoroughly checked for viruses. None present.
