Post Trojan-bnk.win32.keylogger.gen-PLEASE HELP!

My laptop Windows Vista, Intel Celeron, 1.00 GB, 32 bit operating system has recently been infected by the trojan-bnk.win32.keylogger.gen.

As a result of this virus, various links to porn have appeared on the desktop. I really don't know what to do. I'm unable to access the internet as ever since this virus took over, the internet disappeared. Each time I click on internet explorer, i get a message saying 'Application not Found.

Can anybody please tell me how to get rid of this virus. It's a nightmare!

Thank you very much
