I knew about blogger and live journal but they do not let choose my own domain name

WordPress can be built two different ways. The first and free one is to have them host it. I don't think you can change the domain name though. You could buy a domain and redirect it but I would just go with the second option. The second option with Wordpress is to host it yourself and have your own domain. You can do a lot more with a Wordpress blog you host yourself. I also like it for its e-commerce abilities. You might get some more opinions by reading some internet marketing blogs and other blogs about blogs.
