Default KB article number?

Since my wireless internet connection is weird, I need a hotfix from microsoft, however, they are asking for "KB Article Number", which I have no idea what is. I usually google around to find out what it is, but I've been doing it endlessly, and I still can't find what it is, or how I find it on vista. Anyone, help?

Cool Knowledge Base

KB in this case stands for Microsofts Knowledge Base, which is located at support.microsoft.com. For example here is a KB article on how to query the Knowledge Base http://support.microsoft.com/kb/242450 ...your KB article number here would be 242450 of course. So Im guessing that there is a KB article that pertains to your particular "hot fix" that they are looking for. Hope this helps!
