In Control Panel -> Properties there is an option under hardware, power "...allow windows to shut down this device to save power.." This option is grayed out
so I cannot check it. I believe this is the reason why I cannot get my PC to go into proper sleep mode. I have used system restore, I have used Norton Ghost to go back and restore more comprehensively and I have tried turning UAC on and off, I am signing on as Administrator, I I have rolled back the mouse driver (Wheel Mouse Optical) and reloaded the latest driver - all with no avail. Any further suggestions would be appreciated. |
